Anishinaabe Cultural Center & Gallery
Featuring a traditional round room in which Anishinaabe youth demonstrate Hoop Dancing, Traditional Dancing and Fancy Dancing to the heart beat rhythms of Anishinaabe drum songs. Examples of dance regalia are on view. On display you will find Anishinaabe art, specializing in basketry, beadwork, moccasins, wood- carvings, buckskin beaded bags and oil paintings. Inspiration as well as materials for the art are often gleaned from area hardwood forests, streams and lakes. Open year round Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm except holidays.
