Otter Tail County Historical Museum
This is one of the best local history museums in Minnesota. You will find dioramas and exhibits that depict the natural history and settlement in West Central Minnesota. We also feature an outstanding genealogical research library and gift shop. The Exhibit Gallery/Gift Shop hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm; Saturday 1 - 4pm (January - December); Sunday 1 - 4pm (June - August); Library Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (January - December). Otter Trail Scenic Byway
This officially designated Minnesota Scenic Byway is a 150-mile circular drive through Otter Tail County. The route conveys the beauty of rolling hills and lake country. Otter Tail County has over 1,000 lakes. Inspiration Peak, the second highest point in Minnesota, provides panoramic views, especially during fall colors. Prairie Wetlands Learning Center
The Prairie Wetlands Learning Center includes 325-acres of native and restored prairie, 28 wetlands and 4-miles of trails. The Visitor Center houses a 2500-square foot exhibit area, the Bluestem Store, classrooms and a multi-purpose meeting room. The Center provides both day and residential environmental education and interpretation of the prairie pothole region for learners of all ages.
