Established in 1974 after Community of Peterson moved the former Railroad Station to its present site; local memorabilia, artifacts, photographs of local interest; original depot authorized in 1876 and built in 1877; Depot was part of the former Southern Minnesota Railroad first established on paper in 1855; museum also has genealogy center. Colville Aquatic Center
The City of Red Wing is proud of the Colville Aquatic Center. The beautiful new facility opened in 2000; it is an outdoor facility that sits next to the Mississippi River in Colville Park. The pool has two water slides, a zero-depth entry, an interactive play area in the water for the young kids, diving board, and drop slide. Hay Creek Trails
Enjoy the 17-miles of hiking trails with several loops, the shortest about 3-miles. You will find rugged terrain with steep hills and valleys. Memorial Park Trail
Explore this 12.1 km trackset with a 5.0 km skate-ski. You will find mostly intermediate level trails. You will find mostly rolling, wooded trails to Memorial Park and around the golf course. The clubhouse is open to skiers and there are maps along the trail. Located in Red Wing, from Main Street SE on Hwy 58, then continue on Bush Street to Mississippi Nat'l Golf Links.
